Through the competitive analysis I conducted, it was clear that the first thing people want to access when opening the app is to either add or mark tasks as complete. I also placed organizational elements above the task list for encouraging more grouped task completion. For the new task page, my design had the sole intention of simplifying the process. All the user needs to do is write their task and then select a category and date, if they choose to.
